Olga Brazhkina is a Postdoctoral Fellow at Emory University since August 2019, with a focus on cardiovascular research under the mentorship of Michael E. Davis, PhD. Previously, Olga served as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Joint Program of Biomedical Engineering at GaTech/Emory University, completing a doctoral dissertation on Auxetic iPSC-Cardiomyocyte 3D Printed Patches for heart repair post-myocardial infarction. Olga's research experience includes work as an Undergraduate Researcher in the Cardiovascular Biomechanics Laboratory at the University of Arkansas from October 2015 to May 2019. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Arkansas, a Master of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the Wallace H. Coulter Department at Georgia Tech and Emory University, and ongoing PhD studies in Biomedical Engineering at Emory University and Georgia Tech.
