Elena Chang is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in accounting and management roles within the energy sector. Since December 2018, Elena has served as the Director of Accounting at Enbridge Gas, following a variety of managerial positions within the company, including Technical Manager for Finance Rebasing Strategy and Manager of Reporting, Research & Power. Prior to joining Enbridge Gas, Elena held multiple roles at Enbridge Gas Distribution from July 2010 to November 2018, focusing on utility and power operational accounting, financial reporting, and external reporting. Elena began their career as a Senior Staff Accountant at Deloitte. Educationally, Elena holds a Chartered Accountant designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario and both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Waterloo.
