Katie Hobart is an experienced R&D professional with a strong background in chemistry. Currently serving as a Senior R&D Professional I at Encapsys since August 2015, Katie has held multiple titles including Advanced R&D Chemist II, Staff Chemist, and Senior Chemist. Previously, Katie worked at Appvion as a Senior Chemist and at MC Products Corp. as a Senior Process Chemist and Process Chemist. Initial roles included positions at the University of Colorado Denver as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Resident Scientist, where Katie contributed to the NSF Graduate STEM Fellowship in K-12 Education. Katie holds a Master of Science in Chemistry from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
