Soby Bismal

Soby Bismal has extensive experience in the DevOps field. Starting in 2015 at Evotix, Soby held roles such as Technical Services Lead, DevOps Engineer, and later became the Head of Technical Services. In these positions, Soby was responsible for implementing automation tools and infrastructure, migrating physical infrastructure to cloud solutions, managing architecture services for internal and external customers, and deploying and maintaining distributed environments. Soby also demonstrated expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, as well as security monitoring tools and coding/scripting languages. Recently, Soby joined Encompass Corporation as the Head of DevOps, where they manage a growing team and oversee the development of a self-service, secure, and scalable cloud platform.

Soby Bismal obtained a BSc degree in Computing (Web Systems Development) from Glasgow Caledonian University from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed an HND degree in Internet and Networking Technologies from Glasgow Clyde College (prev. Cardonald College) from 2007 to 2009. Soby also holds certifications in Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 from Microsoft, and an ITIL Foundation certificate in IT Service Management from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.
