Tim Loonam

Tim Loonam DVM is an accomplished veterinary professional with extensive experience in both clinical and leadership roles. Currently serving as the Director of University Relations and Executive Veterinary Advisor at Encore Vet Group since November 2019, Tim previously held the position of Medical Director at Grace Animal Hospital, which Tim founded and led as Owner from June 2006 to November 2019. Tim’s earlier roles include working as a Relief Veterinarian at CSRA Lifesaver and serving as a Testing Veterinarian for the United States Equestrian Federation. Tim's military experience includes various leadership positions within the US Army, culminating as Medical Company Commander. Tim earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Georgia-College of Veterinary Medicine and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
