Yu Qiu has over 15 years of experience in the bioinformatics field. In 2007, they began their career as a Postdoc at the University of California at San Diego. In 2011, they moved to the University of Pennsylvania as a Research Scientist, where they performed bioinformatics and statistical analysis for multiple research projects and co-authored publications on Cell and PNAS. Yu also established NGS workflows for the research group. In 2017, Yu Qiu joined GENEWIZ, By Azenta Life Sciences, where they held the roles of Associate Principal Scientist, Senior Scientist - NGS Bioinformatics/Process Development, and Scientist II, NGS - Process Development/Bioinformatics. In 2022, they moved to ENDPOINT HEALTH as a Principal Bioinformatics Scientist.
Yu Qiu is currently enrolled at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
