Shane McMahon has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting roles. Shane currently holds the position of Head of Group Finance at Energia Group since November 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Catapult as VP Finance from January 2022 to August 2023, and from September 2020 to December 2021. Shane also served as the Group Financial Controller at Catapult from November 2017 to August 2020. Before joining Catapult, Shane worked as a Financial Reporting Manager at Toll Group from June 2016 to October 2017, and as a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research from July 2014 to June 2016. Shane started their career as a Financial Controller at MediCare Pharmacy Group (NI) from November 2010 to October 2013. Prior to that, they worked in Audit & Corporate Finance at BDO from October 2007 to November 2010.
Shane McMahon attended St Michaels Grammar from 2000 to 2004. Shane then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance at Ulster University from 2004 to 2007. Lastly, Shane completed their education by obtaining a Chartered Accountancy degree from Chartered Accountants Ireland from 2007 to 2011.
