Vanthang Nguyen

VanThang "VT" Nguyen is a Principal Embedded Software Engineer at Energous since November 2023, responsible for maintaining firmware for Wireless Power Transmitter and implementing new features. Previously, VT served as Principal Firmware Engineer at NextSense, Inc., leading the architecture and design of firmware for a wearable EEG device. At Eargo, contributions as a Senior Staff Firmware Engineer focused on prototype development for next-generation hearing aids with BLE 5.2. As Principal Firmware Engineer at Vave Health, VT advanced firmware for portable ultrasound imaging devices. At NAGRA, experience included software integration for 4K DVR VOD STB projects in Latin America and participating in RESTful API development for streaming devices. In earlier roles at OpenTV, VT led software development for significant projects across multiple regions, providing expertise and support to various teams. VT holds a Diplome d'Ingenieur in Electronics and Computer Science from the Institut supérieur d'électronique et du numérique.
