Marius Beul has a diverse work experience. Marius is currently working as the Head of the Drone Program at Energy Robotics, where they lead the development of software platforms for autonomous inspections in capital-intensive industries. Prior to this, they worked as a PHD Student at Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn, focusing on time-optimal trajectory generation and control. Marius has also completed a training program as a mechatronic technician at Fraunhofer IAIS.
Marius Beul completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Automatisierungstechnik from Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences in the years 2007 to 2011. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science in Automatisierungstechnik from Cologne University of Applied Sciences between 2011 and 2013.
Energy Robotics
Energy Robotics has launched one of the first commercially available software platforms for industrial applications that combines three essential components of intelligent control of mobile autonomous robots: a hardware-independent robot operating system, cloud-based fleet management, and AI-powered data analysis. The robots are used for remoteinspection and monitoring, especially in industries with harsh and demanding environments such as the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries, but also increasingly in the energy and security industries. The company relies on a SaaS model to do this, offering its software solution and associated IT infrastructure along with hardware from various third-party vendors.
