Laborelec
Bertrand Haut is a Senior Expert in Data Science and Applied Mathematics at LABORELEC since October 2013, where expertise includes the design, development, and maintenance of various power system simulation and optimization products, such as EUROSTAG, PRELE, SCANNER, FAST, and SmartFlow. Prior experience includes working as a Design Engineer at Tractebel Engineering from September 2007 to September 2013, focusing on similar product development. Bertrand also served as a FNRS Research fellow from October 2003 to August 2007, completing a PhD thesis on "Modelling and control of road traffic networks," with a focus on hyperbolic quasi-linear equations and optimal control rules. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Mathematics from École polytechnique de Louvain and a Civil Engineer degree in the same field from the same institution.
