Keelan Keogh currently serves as the Fusion 4 Energy Industrial Liaison Officer for Ireland at Engineers Ireland, a position held since January 2022, in addition to working as a policy officer focused on developing and reviewing engineering policies. Previously, Keelan worked at RACE Remote Applications in Challenging Environments from June 2013 to January 2022, where roles included Lead Mechanical Engineer and Mechanical Design Engineer, contributing to remote handling projects for nuclear fusion reactors like JET and ITER. Keelan's career began with a summer internship focused on welding technology for future nuclear fusion reactors, followed by earlier positions as a Catering Assistant at Mater Private and a Kitchen Porter at Tara Vale Restaurant. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Advanced Welding Processes from Cranfield University and a BEng in Manufacturing and Design from Technological University Dublin, along with a Bachelor of Engineering in Automation Engineering Technology from the same institution.
