Chief Cybersecurity And Operational Officer at European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA)

Hans de Vries is currently serving as the Chief Cybersecurity and Operational Officer at the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) since April 2024, providing strategic advice and representation in various cybersecurity groups. Prior to this role, Hans took a sabbatical break from December 2023 to April 2024. From November 2014 to December 2023, Hans held the position of Director at the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) within the Ministry of Justice and Security, overseeing collaborative efforts between public and private sectors in addressing cyber security issues. Earlier experience includes positions as Head of Customer & Development at the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, where Hans advanced ICT security, and roles in ICT management at CAOP and Vroom & Dreesmann Nederland BV. Hans holds a law degree from Leiden University, obtained between 1983 and 1989.
