Peter Stuckey has over 20 years of work experience in various roles related to quality assurance, asset management, and process safety. Peter worked at ENMAX as the Director of Asset Management & Quality Assurance, where they were responsible for implementing and managing quality assurance and process safety systems. Prior to that, they served as the Manager of Generation Quality Assurance, overseeing the implementation of internal audit, root cause analysis, and work surveillance programs. Peter also worked as a Quality Assurance Auditor, conducting internal audits and integrity assessments of ENMAX's generating infrastructure and systems.

In addition, Peter Stuckey worked at Gill Research & Development Limited as a Quality Engineer and at TransCanada Turbines as the Director of Quality Assurance, Test Cells & HSE. In these roles, they were accountable for the quality performance of the organization and the operational performance of gas turbine test cells. Peter also developed and implemented quality, health, safety, and environmental management systems.

Peter Stuckey began their career in the Royal Air Force (RAF), where they served as an Aircraft Systems Instructor and an Aircraft Engineer - Operations. In their role as an instructor, they taught various aircraft systems to technicians, engineers, and engineering managers. As an aircraft engineer, they certified aircraft fit to fly and managed scheduled maintenance.

Peter Stuckey attended the University of Abertay from 1991 to 1995, where they pursued a degree in Integrated Engineering. Throughout their career, they have also obtained several certifications, including the CMRP certification from SMRP in 2019, the IAM Certificate in Asset Management in 2018 from The Institute of Asset Management, and the Licensed Maintenance Engineer certification from EASA - European Aviation Safety Agency in 2001. In 2022, they earned the IAM Diploma with Distinction from The Institute of Asset Management, as well as certifications from ASQ - World Headquarters and the American Society of Quality for Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence. Additionally, they hold various other certifications related to further education teaching, engineering leadership & management, and causal analysis from institutions like Swindon College, City & Guilds of London, Kepner Tregoe, and TapRoot.
