Illya Kuzmych

Illya Kuzmych is an experienced Embedded Firmware Engineer currently at Enphase Energy, where the focus is on designing and implementing over-the-air firmware upgrades for the IQ Balcony product. Prior experience includes leadership roles within the Aeronautics and Astronautics CubeSat Team, overseeing flight operations and leading the command and data handling subsystem for a satellite. Additionally, Illya has worked as a Firmware Engineer at Intel Corporation, contributing to the UEFI Memory decode team. Early career experience encompasses a research role at the Sensors, Energy, and Automation Laboratory, as well as team member duties at Chick-fil-A, showcasing strong teamwork and operational efficiency. Illya holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Washington, along with an Associate of Science from Green River College and a high school diploma from Kentridge Senior High School.
