Louis Berlan

Louis Berlan is the Founder of Bear Flag Capital, established in March 2019, focusing on investing in B2B and B2C pre-seed and seed stage deals in France, with initial investments in companies such as Virtuo and Kard. In addition, Louis Berlan serves as a Venture Partner at Entrepreneur First and as a Lecturer at Sciences Po, where the "Investing 101" class is taught in the Masters' of Finance & Strategy program. Prior experience includes a Principal role at Bpifrance, overseeing a 500M€ fund for later-stage investments in innovative tech sectors, and a Management Consultant position at Bain & Company, with a focus on various industries. Earlier roles include analyst positions at Alven, Clipperton Finance, and Smith Barney, where a strong foundation in investment analysis and client management was developed. Louis Berlan holds a Master's degree in Finance and Strategy from Sciences Po.
