Simon Zühlke is a seasoned entrepreneur and business leader with extensive experience in various industries, particularly in steel, recruitment, and consulting. As the Co-Founder and Managing Director of vanilla steel, Simon Zühlke is focused on building Europe's largest metal trading marketplace. Simultaneously, Simon Zühlke is an active member of the Entrepreneurs' Organization and a Founding Member and VP of Public Relations at Toastmasters International, where a new public speaking club in Berlin-Mitte was established. Previous roles include serving as Entrepreneur in Residence at thyssenkrupp Steel, where advice was provided to the management board on digital business models, and Country Lead DACH at JobTeaser, where successful team management and product adaptation led to achieving profitability. Simon Zühlke also held senior consultancy roles at Stern Stewart & Co. and gained valuable insights during experiences at Porsche Consulting and Ernst & Young Global Consulting Services. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science from ESCP Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Technische Universität Darmstadt.
