Jarian Vernimmen is a seasoned professional in the chemical engineering field with extensive experience in plant management and research. Currently serving as Plant Manager for Caprolactam & Polyamide-6 and for Polyamide-6 at Envalior since April 2023, Jarian previously held multiple roles at LANXESS from October 2012 to April 2023, including Plant Manager and Production Manager. Earlier experience includes a postdoctoral research position and PhD student role at the University of Antwerp, focusing on the synthesis and characterization of Ti-activated siliceous materials for heterogeneous catalysis, and a brief visiting researcher position at the University of Alicante. Jarian’s educational background includes a PhD in Science (Chemistry) and a Master’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Antwerp.
