Daniel Heuman has a diverse work experience that spans over several companies and roles. Daniel started their career in 1994 as a Senior Research Analyst at Compusearch, where they worked until 1998. Daniel then joined MapInfo as the Director of Custom Research until 2003. From 2003 to 2015, they held the position of VP of Custom Research at Environics Analytics. Daniel then became the Senior Vice President of R&D at the same company until 2017 when they were promoted to Chief Analytics Officer. In 2019, they briefly worked as a Spatial Analysis Instructor at Ryerson University. Overall, Daniel has a strong background in analytics, research, and custom development roles.
Daniel Heuman holds a Master's degree (MA) in Geography from York University, which they obtained from 1993 to 1995. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree (BAA) in Applied Geography at Ryerson University from 1989 to 1993. Additionally, they have obtained certification as a Certified Analytics and Insights Professional from the Certified Analytics and Insights Professional institution in 2022.
