Gene Bruton has over 30 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Gene began their career in the US Navy, serving as a Nuclear Power Machinist LPO from 1986 to 1992. After leaving the Navy, Gene worked as a General Manager and Partner at Paramount Health Clubs, where they played a crucial role in growing the business from one location to five in the Central Florida region. During their time there, they managed all aspects of the physical properties and day-to-day operations and implemented computerized membership and sales tracking systems.

In 2003, Gene founded their own company, Project Coordination, Inc., where they served as Owner and President until 2010. Following this, they joined Regency Hospital Company as a Project Manager, overseeing project development, estimating, bidding, contracting, scheduling, management, and project closeout. Gene remained in this role for six years.

In 2010, Gene joined Healthcare Facilities Development Services, LLC as an Associate/Consultant. During their time there, they provided consulting services and contributed to various projects until 2015. From 2012 to 2015, they also worked at Precision Constructors, LLC as an Associate/Consultant, where they specialized in construction project management, project development, estimating, and design-build project development. Gene was also actively involved in business development, marketing, IT support, website design, and potential project analysis.

Gene's most recent role was at EPIC, where they initially served as a Superintendent from 2015 to 2016. Gene then moved on to become an Assistant Project Manager from 2016 to 2017, and finally, a Project Manager from 2017 onwards.

Throughout their career, Gene has gained valuable experience in project management, construction, business development, and consulting. Gene has demonstrated strong leadership skills and the ability to successfully manage multiple responsibilities.

Gene Bruton, CHC, CHFM has a strong educational background in the fields of Nuclear Power Mechanical Engineering and Architecture. From 1986 to 1992, Gene attended USN and obtained a degree in Nuclear Power Mechanical Engineering, studying for a total duration of 6 years. Prior to that, from 1984 to 1986, Gene attended St. Petersburg College and completed a 2-year program in Architecture.

In addition to their education, Gene has also obtained two certifications. In 2017, they became a Certified Healthcare Constructor through the American Hospital Association, and in 2019, they obtained the Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) certification, also from the American Hospital Association.
