Julie Chavez has diverse work experience in the recruitment field. Julie started their career as a Staffing Specialist at IMI Material Handling Logistics in 2009 and later joined My Town Partners in 2010 with the same role. In 2011, they worked as a Shift Supervisor at Starbucks. However, their primary focus has been in the IT industry, as they served as a Senior Technical Recruiter for Epsilon, Inc. from 2013 to 2016. Julie's career progressed, and they eventually became the Director of Recruiting at Epsilon, Inc., responsible for managing the recruiting department and successfully recruiting a range of cleared IT professionals.
Julie Chavez attended Florida Atlantic University from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Ceramic Arts and Ceramics. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications. In July 2015, they obtained a Professional Recruiter Certification (PRC) from AIRS. Then, in March 2020, they obtained a SHRM Talent Acquisition Specialty certification from SHRM. Finally, in December 2020, they obtained a People Manager Qualification (PMQ) certification from SHRM.
