Alan Walker has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Alan began their career at Alstom Power as a Fluid Systems Designer from 1990 to 1998. Alan then joined Siemens Power Generation in 1984 and held various roles, including Divisional Information Officer - PLM and Program Director - Collaborative Product Definition, where they focused on business solutions for the complete product lifecycle. In 2007, they moved to Siemens PLM Software, where they worked as a Program Director and Business Partner Consultant, developing business strategies in sectors such as aerospace, defense, energy, and marine. Most recently, Alan has been associated with eQ Technologic, serving as the Director of Customer Engagement before becoming the Vice-President of Customer Engagement in 2021.

Alan Walker attended Lincolnshire College of Technology from 1984 to 1987, where they pursued a degree in Industrial Electronics. Following this, from 2000 to 2001, they enrolled in Newcastle College to obtain a diploma in Sports Psychology.
