Helmut Geier

Helmut Geier serves as the Head of Research at EQT Partners/EQT AB since July 2014, having previously held positions as Research Manager within the same organization. Prior to this role, Helmut was with Capgemini Consulting from February 2001 to June 2014, where responsibilities included Head of Research & Analysis for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, Co-Head of Strategic Research & Analysis for the same regions, and Senior Research Manager. Earlier experience includes positions as Market Research Expert at Emerson Electric - Knuerr and Senior Research Consultant at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, along with a role in Strategic Planning and Marketing at Coplan AG. Educational qualifications include a Diploma in Economic Geography, Economics, and Public Law from the University of Regensburg and further studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
