Rogelio Pena

Rogelio Pena, RD has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Rogelio began their career as a Minority Student Recruitment Officer at The University of Arizona in 2003. Rogelio then worked as a Community Dietitian for Maricopa County from 2006 to 2008. Rogelio then moved on to Mountain Park Health Center where they served as a Registered Dietitian and Wellness Coach from 2008 to 2009.

In 2009, Rogelio joined Carewise Health as a Wellness Coach II - Dietitian, where they provided wellness coaching sessions primarily over the telephone and conducted advising sessions with employees. Rogelio also attended biometric screening events at worksites.

In 2010, Rogelio joined Centene Corporation where they held various roles including Registered Dietitian Health Coach, Manager of Health Operations, and Senior Manager of Health Operations. During their time at Centene Corporation, they focused on disease management, nutrition, exercise, weight management, stress management, and tobacco cessation.

In 2016, Rogelio joined Oscar Health as part of their Concierge Services Operations team. Rogelio worked there until 2017 when they joined Equality Health as the Manager of Care Coordination. In 2019, Rogelio was promoted to the position of Director of Clinical Outreach Solutions at Equality Health.

Throughout their career, Rogelio has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experience in healthcare operations, care coordination, wellness coaching, and clinical outreach. Rogelio has a strong background in nutrition and is a Registered Dietitian.
