Peter Tian

Peter Tian serves as the Group Treasurer at Equitable, overseeing capital management, liquidity management, hedging, reinsurance, capital markets, and funding programs since September 2019. Previously, Peter held roles including Head of Product & Inforce for Individual Retirement, where responsibilities included product development and the variable annuity hedge program, and Deputy Chief Risk Officer, managing various risk functions and economic capital. Prior to joining Equitable, Peter worked at Oliver Wyman as a Principal, advising global life insurers on enterprise strategy, risk management, and product design, among other areas, and leading due diligence for multiple transactions. Peter holds a B.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering, summa cum laude, from Yale University.
