Daniela Martinez serves as the Head of Legal, Regulation and Compliance at Essbio since July 2021, with previous experience as a consultant in energy and environmental law and policy since February 2019. From March 2020 to July 2021, Daniela was the Head of Legal at Asociación de Telefonía Móvil (Atelmo AG) and had a notable tenure as a Partner and Senior Associate at Quintanilla & Busel Niedmann from December 2015 to January 2019. Daniela contributed to the Chile Energy Efficiency Project as a Legal/Policy Advisor at the Natural Resources Defense Council in 2012-2013 and has held various advisory roles, including at the Ministry of Energy in Chile, where legislative contributions focused on energy efficiency were made. Daniela also directed housing initiatives at Un Techo para mi País Mexico and practiced corporate and environmental law as an Associate at Carey & Cia Law Firm. Daniela holds a Master in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School, a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Harvard Law School, and a Licentiate in Legal and Social Sciences from Universidad de Chile Law School.
