Camila Villard Duran

Camila Villard Duran is an international legal expert and Associate Professor of Law at ESSCA Ecole de management since August 2022, focusing on the intersection of law, economics, money, and finance. Duran's research interests include monetary law, central banking, regulation of crypto-assets, climate finance, and gender equality. As a co-founder of Canto da Sabiá Books, Duran promotes Brazilian culture and the Portuguese language abroad. Additionally, Duran has held various academic positions, including Associate Professor at Universidade de São Paulo and Senior Research Associate at the University of Oxford. Educational achievements include PhDs in Law and International Economic Law from USP and University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, and an extensive teaching portfolio.
