Julia Thackrey

Julia Thackrey holds a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology and Geospatial Information Science and Technology from the University of California, Berkeley. Currently, Julia serves as Manager of Investment and Dispositions at Essex Property Trust, where responsibilities include analyzing data for investment opportunities and disposition targets, reporting directly to senior executives. Previously, Julia held various roles at Essex Property Trust, including Senior Investment Analyst and Investments Administrator, focusing on multifamily assets and streamlining disposition processes. Additional experiences include a Business Ops Internship at Zumper, where efforts were directed towards enhancing efficiency in the multifamily rental market, and research internships at UCSF Memory and Aging Center, University of San Diego, and University of California, San Diego, with a focus on neuropathology, comparative physiology, and oncofertility.
