Fernando Balbás Fernández has extensive experience in the field of information technology and software development. Currently serving as the Director of the IT department (CIO) at ESTEYCO since April 2000, Fernando has played a pivotal role in managing IT strategies and infrastructure. Prior to this, Fernando worked at Universidad Autonoma de Madrid from January 1998 to March 2000 as a Software Developer, focusing on the development of applications in C and Fortran for physical analysis, and received the SA Business Award for contributions to the field. Fernando holds a Licentiate degree in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and a Bachelor's degree from Jose Luis San Pedro.
