Tonja Wicks

Tonja Wicks, MBA, MPP, currently serves as Vice President of Government and Regulatory Affairs at esVolta, LP, where responsibilities include developing corporate and regulatory strategies aligned with the company's mission while advancing Battery Energy Storage opportunities. Prior to this, Tonja held the position of VP of Regulatory Affairs at Elevate Renewable Energy, focusing on establishing the firm as a clean energy policy leader and fostering relationships with key federal and state regulators. Tonja's experience also includes roles as Director of National Regulatory Affairs at American Water, Manager of Federal Regulatory and Regional Affairs at Duquesne Light Company, Managing Director at TLW Legal and Government Support Services, and Regulatory and Government Issues Manager at Florida Power & Light Company. Tonja holds an MBA from American University and a Master's and Bachelor's degree from Howard University in Public Policy and Political Science/Public Relations, respectively.
