Bill Whelan has a range of work experience in the engineering and software development fields. Bill started their career at Conduit as a Developer in 2000 and remained in the role until 2007. Bill then joined Codeworks Software & Web Design as a Senior Software Engineer from 2007 to 2011. In 2011, they transitioned to ESW, where they held various roles including Engineering Manager & Onboarding Technical Lead until February 2023. Bill currently holds the position of Director of Engineering at ESW, starting in March 2023.
Bill Whelan obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Technological University Dublin, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. In addition, they hold a certification as a Certified SAFe® 5 Practitioner, which they obtained from Scaled Agile Inc in March 2020.
