Julian Oliver

Julian Oliver is an experienced professional with a strong background in governance and strategic counsel. At EURACTIV Media Network b.v., Julian serves as an Adviser for the Strategic Council since June 2019, and has been the Company Secretary at EURACTIV since July 2005, as well as Company Secretary and board director at EURACTIV.COM PLC since 2004. Previously, Julian held the position of Director General at the Global Express Association from April 2000 to July 2003, where responsibilities included providing policy advice for global express carriers. Julian's career also includes a role as VP of External Affairs at American Express Europe from 1987 to 1994, focused on regulatory impact in the EU. Julian holds a BA in Economics and Political Science from Trinity College Dublin, completed in 1966, and attended RBAI for secondary education from 1955 to 1962.
