Denis Beau has been with Banque de France since 1986, currently serving as First Deputy Governor and Director General of Financial Stability and Operations, where involvement includes participation in key European and international committees focusing on monetary policy, financial stability, and bank regulation. Previously, Denis Beau held the position of Deputy Director General of Financial Stability and Operations and also served as Deputy Director General of Studies and International Relations, representing Banque de France at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. In addition to roles at Banque de France, Denis Beau has been active since August 2017 at the European Central Bank as Chair of the Budget Committee and a Member of the Supervisory Board. Other positions include membership at the French Financial Markets Authority and chairing the Analytical Group on Vulnerabilities at the Financial Stability Board until April 2023. Denis Beau holds an MBA from INSEAD and has been associated with Sciences Po since 1984.
