Cinzia Bianco, Ph.D., currently serves as a Research Fellow on Europe & the Gulf at the European Council on Foreign Relations, a position held since September 2019. Previously, Cinzia operated as a Non-Resident Scholar at the Middle East Institute from October 2021 to October 2022 and as a Senior Analyst & Advisor at Gulf State Analytics between September 2014 and September 2022. Cinzia's experience also includes serving as a Liaison and Protocol Officer for the Oman Pavilion at Expo Milan 2015 and participating as a Delegate in the Foreign Affairs Commission during the G8 & G20 Youth Summit in 2011. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Gulf Studies from the University of Exeter, a Master of Arts in Middle East and Mediterranean Studies from King's College London, and a Bachelor's degree in Comparative Humanities from Sapienza Università di Roma.
