European Space Resources Innovation Centre (ESRIC)
Marko Sikiric is a PhD student at the University of Luxembourg, focusing on hydrogen-assisted plasma reduction of lunar regolith for oxygen extraction and H2O production since March 2022. Previously, Marko Sikiric worked as a translator at Schneider Electric and interned at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology, where the role involved characterizing and improving radiofrequency carpet setups for charged particle beams. Earlier experience includes serving as a Testing & Commissioning Engineer at KONČAR - ENGINEERING CO. and as an IT Engineer at Zagrebačka banka, alongside work as a Customer Management Center Technician at Hrvatski Telekom. Marko Sikiric holds a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Zagreb University of Applied Sciences and a graduated electrotehnician diploma from Technical High School TESLA.

Based in Luxembourg, the European Space Resources Innovation Center (ESRIC) fosters innovation and growth in the space resources industry by connecting leading academic, industrial and entrepreneurial talents. ESRIC’s activities are based on four main pillars: space resources research and development; support for economic activities; knowledge management and community management. The Centre, launched in Novembre 2020, is an initiative of the Luxembourg Space Agency (LSA) and the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology(LIST) in strategic partnership with the European Space Agency (ESA).
