Tobias Wieloch

Tobias Wieloch is an experienced professional in cybercrime and security management, currently serving as Head of Team at Europol's European Cybercrime Centre (EC3) since November 2015. In this role, Tobias leads a high-performing team of dark web analysts, implementing advanced data mining techniques to identify and prevent cyber threats, resulting in significant operational efficiency. Prior to this position, Tobias coordinated high-profile payment fraud operations at EC3, preventing substantial financial losses and advising on regulatory frameworks. As Chair and German representative of the Joint Cybercrime Action Taskforce, Tobias established an international collaboration focused on cross-border cyber investigations. Tobias holds a Master of Arts in Security Management from The Berlin School of Economics and Law, a Diploma in Business Management from Technische Hochschule Wildau, and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Law from Fachhochschule des Bundes.
