Heather Orkiszewski is an experienced professional in food safety and laboratory management, with a strong foundation in microbiology from Purdue University. At the Atlanta Community Food Bank, Heather served as a Food Safety Compliance Specialist, conducting audits and providing employee training to ensure safe food delivery. Formerly at Kimberly-Clark, Heather was a Laboratory & Safety Coordinator, overseeing a team and maintaining ISO:9001 certification. Heather's experience includes roles at Georgia-Pacific LLC, where responsibilities involved physical testing of consumer products, and at DSM, focusing on quality control and food safety inspections. Additionally, Heather has demonstrated leadership and organizational skills as the Director of Youth Ministry at Aldersgate United Methodist Church and worked as a Resident Assistant during university studies.
