Katherine Ash, CEBT, has extensive experience in clinical education and training, currently serving as a Specialist at Eversight since October 2017, where responsibilities include developing and delivering clinical training programs in compliance with regulations. Prior roles include Clinical Technician positions specializing in tissue processing and evaluation, as well as experience in mortuary science as a Funeral Director/Embalmer at various funeral homes. Katherine has a background in tissue procurement as a Tissue Procurement Specialist II at Gift of Life Michigan and has also worked in laboratory support and as a teaching assistant in anatomy courses. Katherine holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mortuary Science from Wayne State University.

Eversight is nonprofit organization with a mission to restore sight and prevent blindness through the healing power of donation, transplantation and research. The Eversight network is responsible for recovering, evaluating and providing human eye tissue for transplantation; supporting research into the causes and cures of blinding eye conditions; promoting donation awareness through public and professional education; and providing humanitarian aid to people around the world in need of corneal transplantation.
