Dhanpal Jhaveri joined Everstone in 2008. As Vice Chairman – Everstone Group in Mumbai, he is responsible for the day-to-day management of the firm’s private equity business in India, with a focus on deal origination, exit strategies and financial services. Dhanpal is also the CEO for EverSource Capital, a joint venture between Lightsource BP and Everstone Capital to make green and sustainable investments in India. He has over 24 years’ experience in corporate finance and strategy. His previous roles include Director of Corporate Strategy at Vedanta Resources, Head of Investment Banking at ICICI Securities and Partner at KPMG, one of the Big Four auditors. Dhanpal has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Mumbai and a Master of Business Administration from Babson College.
