Satmeet Ubhi is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in software development and engineering leadership. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Evisort since December 2022, Satmeet previously held the role of Senior Engineering Manager and Principal Engineer at the same company, where key contributions included building an event-driven messaging system. Satmeet's prior experience encompasses impactful roles at Chegg Inc., where architectural solutions for grammar and plagiarism detection systems were developed using AI/ML, and at Percolate Inc., where a data pipeline for analytics was designed. Satmeet has also made significant contributions as a founding engineer at nOps, where insights into billing and costs were implemented. With a strong foundation in scalable infrastructure from positions at Seagate and Lucasfilm, Satmeet remains dedicated to driving innovation in engineering practices. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Computer Science from California State University, Fresno, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Punjab Technical University.
