Mike Cordonnier

Mike Cordonnier is an experienced leader in the medical device industry, currently serving as the Founder and CEO of Carlsmed, Inc. since 2018. In addition, Mike holds an advisory role at EvoNexus since March 2021. Previously, Mike was the Director of Development at NuVasive Specialized Orthopedics from January 2016 to August 2017 and the R&D Director at Ellipse Technologies, Inc., prior to its acquisition by NuVasive. Mike also contributed as the Product Development Director at Zimmer Biomet Dental from 2011 to 2015 and played a key role at Orchid Orthopedic Solutions as the first employee, serving from August 2008 to August 2011. Early in Mike's career, significant contributions were made at X-spine Systems, Inc. where Mike was an Engineering Leader and one of the first employees until its acquisition by Xtant Medical. Mike's tenure began at YSI, a Xylem brand, from 1995 to 2007 as R&D Manager, culminating with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dayton.
