Joyce Kok

Joyce Kok is an experienced bioinformatician with a strong background in cancer genomics and data management. Currently serving as a Senior Manager in Bioinformatics at Exact Sciences since July 2022, Joyce previously led the data team at the Wellcome Sanger Institute as Head of Data Team (Principal Bioinformatician) from April 2020 to May 2022, delivering vital cancer genomic data products. Prior roles at the Wellcome Sanger Institute also included Principal Software Developer and Senior Bioinformatician, where Joyce developed automated curation systems for large-scale genomic data and integrated treatment datasets for cancer patients. Joyce holds a Master's degree in Bioinformatics from Birkbeck, University of London, and a Bachelor of Science in Bioinformatics from the University of Malaya.
