Mitchell S. has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Starting in 1989, they worked as a Cartographer/Illustrator for the Archaeology Research Program at Southern Methodist University, where they created illustrations, maps, and computer designs for various publications. From 1994 to 2000, Mitchell worked as a Digital Graphics Designer, managing personal projects and creating designs for logos, murals, T-shirt layouts, and more. At Aztec Systems, from 2000 to 2008, Mitchell served as a Senior Software Engineer/Designer, leading teams and developing custom web applications for different industries. From 2008 to 2012, they worked as the Chief Software Engineer at Dodson Data Systems, focusing on full-stack web development and SQL database management. Mitchell then held roles as a Senior Software Engineer/Consultant at IHS, Inc. from 2013 to 2013, where they built an Oil and Gas web application software suite, and as the Principal Software Engineer at GiantIsland LLC from 2013 to 2017, managing software development using C# and ASP.NET. Mitchell then joined Fay Servicing, LLC as a Senior Software Engineer from 2017 to 2018. Mitchell subsequently worked at American Airlines from 2018 to 2020, where they engaged in contract software development, business analysis, and data integration. Most recently, they have been a Senior Software Engineer at Pacific Major since 2020, building prototypes of new Microsoft technologies for future tutorials. In 2023, Mitchell will join Exigo as a Senior Software Engineer. Throughout their career, Mitchell has showcased their skills in software engineering, web development, C#, ASP.NET, and SQL, among others.
Mitchell S. began their education in 1984 at Trinity University, where they pursued a major in BioPhysics/Chemistry. After completing their studies there in 1987, they moved on to Southern Methodist University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Fine/Studio Arts, General. Mitchell then took a break from formal education before returning to school in 1998 at Richland Community College. Mitchell studied Multimedia and Software Engineering at Richland until 2003.
