Stephanie Gilfeather

Stephanie Gilfeather serves as the Director of Indirect Tax at Expedia Group since November 2019 and has also held the position of Senior Manager of Indirect Tax at the same company. In addition, Stephanie contributes as the Co-Chair of the AWB Tax & Fiscal Policy for the Association of Washington Business, starting in August 2023. Prior experience includes Senior Manager of Indirect Tax at Instacart, where Stephanie was the first tax person and managed all tax issues for the company. Previously, at Deloitte, Stephanie advanced to Multistate Tax Senior Manager, focusing on various indirect tax issues within the technology sector. Early career roles include Strategic Advisor for Tax Policy at the City of Seattle and a legal internship focused on tax policy with the Washington State Senate Committee Services. Stephanie holds an LLM in Taxation from the University of Washington School of Law and a Juris Doctor in Tax Law from Seattle University School of Law, complemented by a Master of Arts in International Service and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration - International Business.
