Felix Ruvengo Takanayi has extensive experience in the mechanical engineering field, currently serving as Mechanical Foreman at Extrupet (Pty) Ltd, where responsibilities include overseeing plastic recycling technology since March 2022. Previously, Takanayi held positions as Mechanical Technician at Makk Engineering, Mechanical Supervisor at Sibanye-Stillwater, and Mechanical Fitter at Afraka Ilitha Plant, among other roles. Takanayi's career also includes supervisory and fitter positions at Benyera Consultings, Minopex, and Glencore, focusing on maintenance work at the Rustenburg Glencore plant. Takanayi's foundational education in mechanical engineering was completed at Kwekwe Polytechnic College from 2003 to 2008.
