Amit Tambe

Amit Tambe is an experienced cybersecurity professional with a strong background in threat intelligence and IoT security research. Currently serving as a Researcher at F-Secure Corporation since April 2020, Amit focuses on monitoring prevalent threats and the current threat landscape. Previously, Amit held research assistant positions at Aalto University and Singapore University of Technology and Design, where efforts centered on leveraging IoT honeypots to identify vulnerabilities in IoT devices. Amit has also contributed to product development in cybersecurity at FireEye Cybersecurity Pvt. Ltd. and McAfee, where roles included software development and senior engineering positions, starting from an associate level at Secure Computing Corporation. Amit earned a Master of Science in Information Security from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Pune Institute of Computer Technology.
