McCrae Leith

McCrae Leith is an Associate Electroplating Engineer at Fabric8Labs since October 2023, with a robust background in materials science and engineering. Previous experience includes serving as a UW MSE Capstone Team Member at Group14 Technologies, conducting research on silica byproducts and characterizing material properties using advanced analytical techniques. As a Research and Development Intern at Sironix Renewables, McCrae optimized sulfonation procedures for bio-renewable surfactants. An undergraduate researcher in the Schwartz Group at the University of Washington involved the development of a Python-based model for porous electrodes. Early in the career, McCrae worked as a Quality Control Technician at MicroConnex, where critical measurement programs were designed, and also led sports activities as a Sports Camp Coach at PRO Club. McCrae holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington.
