Jez Colburn has extensive work experience in various roles within the technology industry. Jez started their career as a Technical System Administrator at the Home Office in 1998, followed by a brief period of backpacking across Australia. In 1999, they worked as a Data Centre Engineer at Press Association.
Starting from 1999, Jez joined Capita and held several positions including Enterprise Solutions Architect, Senior Technical Consultant, Technical Solutions Manager, and Product Manager - Software & Services. In these roles, they were responsible for various aspects of product development and management, including roadmap creation, customer consultation, technical pre-sales, and project leadership. Jez also built strong relationships with stakeholders across departments and played a key role in the adoption of web-based Microsoft SQL applications. Jez worked at Capita until February 2017.
