Luke Gibson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Luke began their career in 1996 at Monarch Airlines, where they worked as a Desktop Engineer and later as a Finance Team Accountant. In 2001, they joined BBSRC as a Windows Service Support Analyst and progressively moved up to roles such as Windows Technical Support Analyst, Windows Service Systems Team Leader, and Service Manager - SIAM. In 2012, Luke joined Phoenix (IT Infrastructure Services) as a Service Delivery Manager, responsible for hosting service delivery. Luke then moved on to Bluecube Technology Solutions Ltd in 2013 as a Technical Services Manager, overseeing IT service delivery. In 2014, they returned to Phoenix as a Service Transition / Project Manager and later took on a role as a Service Design & Improvement Manager. Luke then joined BAE Systems Applied Intelligence in 2015, where they held various positions, including Service Operations Manager - SIAM, Service Assurance Manager - SIAM, and Senior Service Assurance Manager - SIAM. Most recently, in 2020, Luke joined FCDO Services as the Head of Operations and later assumed the role of Service Owner - Head of Hosting.
Luke Gibson has a diverse education history. Luke completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Leadership and Management with a focus on Business and People at The Open University from 2011 to 2016. Prior to that, they studied Media Studies at Barnfield College from 2005 to 2007 and gained competencies in Television and Video Techniques from 2003 to 2005. In 1995, Luke completed a BTEC in Computer Studies at Barnfield College. Luke'ssecondary education was at Lealands High School, where they obtained GSCE Level qualifications from 1990 to 1995. Luke has also obtained various certifications, including ITIL Expert, ITIL Practitioner, DevOps Leader, and VMware Cloud on AWS - Trained Professional.
