Pascal Girard is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in the automotive industry, currently serving as the Head of Technical Matters for Sport cars, Touring cars, and Formula E at the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) since October 2018. Prior to this role, Pascal held the position of Technical Director at SEGULA Technologies, focusing on R&D programs and innovations in electric traction chains and vehicle architecture from January 2015 to September 2018. As Chief Engineer for Advance Projects and Research & Development Manager at Segula Matra from January 2013 to December 2014, Pascal managed a diverse team while reporting to the President of the automotive industry group. Earlier in Pascal's career, significant roles included Project Manager at Matra (2002-2009) and R&D Manager at Prost Grand Prix (1997-2002), as well as R&D Engineer at Ligier Formule 1 (1990-1997). Pascal holds a DUT in Mechanics from Université Clermont Ferrand and attended the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers.
