Earlier in Scott's career, associate positions were held at Fletcher & Springer, LLP, and as a summer law clerk at multiple firms, including Cowles & Thompson, P.C., Blanchard, Walker, O'Quin & Roberts, and Waring Cox. Scott earned a Juris Doctor from The University of Texas School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government, cum laude, from Rhodes College.
